As UX Research intern, you'll be working together with our UX Researcher and will frequently interact with various members of our Product, Business and Development teams! This means you'll be working in a diverse environment with a vibrant mix of individuals who all thrive on collaboration and who are dedicated to reaching our goals. About your role 🚀

Ans is an online grading and assessment platform based in Delft. We are committed to improving education and making it as easy as possible for everyone. Our team consists of +30 dedicated professionals with a passion for education and entrepreneurship.

With over 75.000 educators actively using our platform, it is crucial to ensure that we have an in depth understanding of what users are trying to achieve through Ans. Their needs, likes and dislikes about the Ans experience are of utmost importance to us! Our Product team is constantly talking to educators and administrators to ensure we prioritise the right problems and to validate we are building the right solutions to solve them.

And that's where you come in! As a UX research intern at Ans contribute to discovery of new insights to help the Product team get an even better view of how to bring value to our customers. Next to this you will explore new ways of conducting research to help us further improve the impact of our research efforts.

This is who you are 💼

We're in search of a self-driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for contributing to the growth of Ans. To thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who:

• Is currently pursuing a degree in Communication & Multimedia design, Industrial design, Behavioural sciences or any related field;

• Has a solid proficiency in English;

• Preferably has some earlier experience with an Agile or Scrum way of working;

• Is able to regularly travel to our office located near Delft, the Netherlands, for the duration of the internship

This is what you like to do 🔧

• Help to create research set-ups to validate our most important assumptions;

• Conduct discovery user interviews and usability tests with current users;

• Experiment with new approaches to conduct user research;

• Analyse research outcomes to identify what users are trying to achieve, what they need and what they like and dislike;

• Help people in the business and engineering teams better understand our users;

• Experience how to work as a researcher within a quickly evolving organization 🏃!

Practical information ⏰

• Availability for 32-40 hours per week is required;

• The internship duration is a minimum of 5 to 6 months;

• Proficiency in navigating a MacBook is essential, as one will be provided for your use during the internship!
