A quick introduction about the Business Team 🚀

We are Andrei, Johan, Madalina, Mike and Niki. We are a multi-cultural team, filled with energy and enthusiasm to extend Ans’ network! We tend to perform our job in multiple places at a time! Are we missing from the office? Then you might find us at conferences abroad, in meetings with customers to share the benefits of Ans, or with great weather, we might meet up outside to brainstorm our ideas (and perhaps also with some drinks and bites on a terrace). 

A day in the life of... 💼

As a Business Developer, you are actively involved with identifying and acquiring new customers to make the work of educators more enjoyable. You are always on the search for new potential customers around the world that could use improvements in their current way of working. You know the Ans platform inside and out and are fully supportive of our long-term vision! You know exactly what the right questions are to ask to educational institutions, to then share how we can assist with any of their needs and wants. You are a star in presentations and demonstrating how the Ans platform works!

Thus, your main priority is to ensure that new educational institutions join Ans, so that more and more educators and students can profit from better education!

Other important tasks include;

• You participate in tenders projects;
• You travel abroad to meet with potential customers;
• You explore and research the needs and challenges of educational institutions in our key-markets;
• And certainly celebrate all of the successes by eating lots of cake and cheering with some good champagne!

• Identifying potential clients in the targeted markets and completing appropriate research on the prospective client’s current situation and needs.
• Connecting with new clients all over the world.
• Visiting (potential) customers and conferences abroad.
• Working with your colleagues to design contract-winning proposals for prospective clients.
• Identify and resolve barriers in the purchasing process.
• Thoroughly understand the platform with all its features and convince prospects that our platform is the platform that they should use.
• Becoming a subject-matter expert on our platform, processes and operations, and remaining up-to-date on industry developments.
• Celebrating success by eating lots of cake or drinking champagne!

• A competitive salary between €2532,- and €3024,- gross based on full-time employment (40 hours per week), dependent on your relevant work experience;
